Ringwood Mazda has been announced as the official vehicle supplier at the 2026 Phillip Island Penrite 100 Classic.

Confirming it's commitment to the event, Ringwood Mazda Dealer Principle, Darren Paull, said, Ringwood Mazda are proud to be associated with the Victorian Historic Racing Register (VHRR) and the long-term success of the Phillip Island Classic at this iconic circuit.

“I have attended the event on multiple occasions and have always been impressed with the exceptional quality of race cars and the efficient management of the event by the VHRR.

“With Mazda’s long and successful association with motorsport here in Australia and overseas, the Phillip Island Classic is a natural fit for our business”.

Ringwood Mazda’s on track vehicle commitment includes the supply of Course cars, and two MX5 sports cars for the ‘Mail Bag’ charity rides.

This year, Mazda RX2 and RX7 race cars will feature in the event’s Heritage Touring Car category, competing with the thundering V8s as they did in the early 1980s, when Allan Moffat’s cigarette-liveried rotary-powered RX7 competed, winning the Australian Touring Car Championship in 1983.

These and over 360 historic race cars will be on track over the weekend of March 14-15 at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. Tickets available on-line or at the gate. Patrons under 17 enter free, Friday is free for all.
