After a few years absence, Historic Sandown will return to a national and global audience over the November 8th and 9th 2025 weekend.
Historic Sandown Chair Peter Donald confirmed that the Lennox Media Group has been appointed by the Victorian Historic Racing Register to live stream all eleven historic categories at Melbourne’s international circuit, on both Saturday and Sunday.
Lennox is already an established streaming partner to the VHRR’s Winton Festival of Speed, initially in 2024, and again in 2025, providing live action over the August 2nd and 3rd weekend. Â

The recent introduction of live streaming to VHRR events provides an opportunity for existing and new sponsors to advertise to a wide local, national and international audience during the event, plus the ongoing exposure of exciting historic racing to a wider motorsport audience, of all ages.
This year’s Historic Sandown meeting will showcase Group N production touring cars, from Minis to Mustangs, Group S production sports cars, from Alfa Romeos to DeTomaso Pantera.
The VHRR will also celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Australian Tourist Trophy, first run and won by the legendary Stirling Moss in a Maserati 300S at the original Albert Park circuit in 1956.

A colourful off-track feature of this weekend will be car club displays adjacent to Sandown’s covered grandstand and main straight, with many clubs celebrating Ford’s 100th year in Australia. Club members will be on hand, eager to talk about their prized cars.
